local v international schools
 

Hi All. It is looking likely that we will be moving to Singapore in the next 2-3 months. I have a 5 year old son currently in Year 1. It seems every international school has a crazy long waiting list and I am trying to understand my options. I would be most grateful if parents currently living in Singapore would share their knowledge. How do you get into schools? What are the local schools/kindergartens like? What options are there and what's best? Thanks

I'm not in Singapore so cannot help very much. However, I do know that there have been numerous existing topics on this subject. Try the Search Box up on the top right hand side. Type in something like "school" and I'm sure there will be a number of topics come up.
