Has anyone recently been approved LTVP?

Hi folks, I'm wondering if anyone has managed to obtain ltvp in the last few months? My partner has been offered a postdoc job in Singapore and from what I can gather unmarried partner is eligible to apply for ltvp provided there is a notorised affidavit of common law relationship RECOGNISED by home country which unfortunately the UK does not recognise.
My intention was to apply for ltvp then try and get job with work permit but all I've been able to find are stories of people getting rejected for ltvp or the "trailing spouse" having to exit Singapore for a few days every few months which obviously costs money and would prohibit me finding a job!
We've been living together several years with joint lease but have separate bank accounts etc.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Scot.

Similar situation to you, I have an EP for my relocation and my partner (girlfriend) required an LTVP.

We submitted all the usual documents, along with a notarised affidavit, copies of cohabitation agreements (dating back three years) and council tax bills documenting our cohabiting. All was approved very quickly and the LTVP came through last week.

Hope thats helps.
