Employment Agents

Looking to set up large office in Singapore and would appreciate any heads up on decent agents or agencies to deal with in relation to the following areas:
- Finance & legal
- People & capability
- Marketing
- Customer experience
- Public relations
- ICT
- Engineering & facilities
- Operations
- Supply mngt
- Project office
Expecting that different agencies specialise in different areas, and hopefully posters have had enough dealings to save time on unprofessional or lazy agents

Re: Employment Agents

I've read this and other posts by you recently.

OK you are probably in the early stages of your thinking and planning about your possible move. And I accept you have to start somewhere.

But asking many of your important questions on an internet site where you have no idea of the qualifications of the people who may answer seems to me at least not the best way to go about things.

If you are looking for confirmation of answers you already have then give the answer and see if posters agree.

Or perhaps better still do a forum search.

Of course how you handle your business etc is entirely up to you.

Just saying like.

Thanks ex reg

The reason is to get a breadth of feedback not to necessarily take answers as gospel.

Like life you only hear bias based on people's interpretations. My intention is to look for consistency from various sources on and offline.

What I do find with these public forums is you do get views not necessarily from same angle as politically motivated got officials or so called advisory firms.

Setting up an office here is not easy.

Starting up a business here is not possible if you are a non citizen or permanent resident except if you hold the equivalent of what is an entrpreneur pass.

You need to have certain funds available before you can do this.

If you're an existing business, see here.

Starting a business in Singapore

Its not a sole trader outfit. We are looking for heads up on good agents for the various functional teams.

Far too easy to just fall in with mediocre agents, hence the sounding off.

Hi Parnell,

A starting point could be large UK Recruitments firms that have expanded into SE Asia, such as Michael Page and RobertWalters.
