Question Do British tv's work in Singapore?

Hi there. Am a very excited mum of two teenage daughters moving to Singapore in August. Silly question but here goes....did anyone bring their tv's from the UK and did they work over there???
Will be a stay at home mum as hubby will be working there so will be picking up advice on here on places to go etc

Depends what you like. To be honest I thought the TV in Singapore was awful - til I moved to Malaysia and discovered what awful really was!!

There's a lot of American dramas, comedies etc, all the usual Discovery channels, cookery, sport, music... I've never watched so much American TV in all my life.

However, I'll be breaking out iPlayer (via Overplay VPN) for the UK's Apprentice which started last night
