Any northerners out there?
My boyfriend and I arrived in Singapore 5 months ago from the UK and loving it but missing the British northern sense of humour! Any northerners out there up for a pint or two?

They're out there, Anabel. The Leeds United Supporters Club meets in the Dubliner Irish pub (go figure) and at least one of the members is from Bradford; he's one of my best buds in Singapore.
You might also try The Sportsman pub in Far East Shopping Centre on Orchard Road, next to the Hilton. It's a Scottish pub - a real one, not a "bought in a box" theme pub - and the patrons are very friendly.

I live in East Morton near Bingley, my husband is flying to Singapore today and starts work on Monday. I fly over on the 21st of April (can not wait)!!!
I would love to meet up with any fellow Northerns when I arrive!
