ACCA/Accounting work in Singapore

Hi there,

I'm looking for some advice for getting an accounting job in Singapore.

I'm a Brit currently living in Tokyo. I am looking to move to Singapore for a few years to start working in accountancy. I am studying for the ACCA qualifications and currently have an ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business (RQF Level 4). However, I have very little accounting work experience. What are my chances of getting a job, how much can i expect to start on, and any other advice you can offer?

Many thanks,
Simon

Do you currently happen to work for an international company? Could it be possible for you to have a company-internal transfer from Tokyo to Singapore? If so, that might be the simplest solution. Having to look "outside" comes with higher hurdles.
