Hi All,
I am new to this group and looking for certain answers regarding my
citizenship. I have applied for citizenship on early November'2003.
They have started processing my application and it has been forwarded
to Toronto office on February 17'2004. Now questions are:
#1. When should I expect a letter from Toronto office to appear for
the test?
#2. What is the current processing times for Citizenship test and
taking oath after that for Toronto office?
Any help on above questions are greatly appreciated. It would be
nice if someone can post their time frame right from application to
getting citizenship who have gotten their citizenship recently from
Toronto office.
I am sure this will help so many people who are waitinf for their
citizenship.
Thanks,
Mitul

Application received for grant of Canadian citizenship (adult) on June 03, 2003.
We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application, and a study book called A Look at Canada on June 03, 2003.
We started processing your application on September 17, 2003.
We sent you a letter on September 17, 2003 (request for copy of entire passport)
Your file was transferred on October 08, 2003 to the Ottawa office
We sent you a notice on February 07, 2004 to appear and write the Citizenship test ( in Kingston) on February 23, 2004
We sent you a notice on April 04, 2004 to appear and take the Oath of Citizenship on May 03, 2004
Hope this helps.
Good luck
Iain
