Default a mistake of youth

hi i am in the early stages of applying for my spouse visa to australia.
we intend to front end load the documents etc and can only forsee one or two problems, as a young man (18) i stole a car and ended up crashing it (no one hurt) i got banned from driving and had community service - no prison sentence.

as this happened 13 years ago would it be ok, or not.?

i have been of good character since.

thanks

You shouldn't have too many problems as long as you are honest with them. My hubby had a conviction from 15 years ago and even though it didn't appear on his police check we put it on the form anyway. We also front load and received our visa within 25 days.

He received a fine and community service for his misdeed.

If you what anymore info send me a PM.

Good luck

Sally and family
