It's hard to believe Brisbane had 8 years of drought before we arrived.

Was just reading our area had 400mm of rain in one afternoon this week.

We would never flood, built our house is in the treetops overlooking the rainforest canopy.

Brisbanes had some good press over the last couple of weeks... Wonder if it's Anna Bligh's good work finally getting some recognition ? She was brilliant during that flood disaster up there.

Only fly in the ointment could be that Brisbane in not such a distant future could well and truly be on the tropical cyclone map. If the Climate doomsayers are to be believed.

BTW thats a tree snake in shower, it climed all around bathroom hid in window track before we got it in a box and put it back in a tree.
