Does anyone else think Dan Murphy's is getting more expensive?

e.g. I usually pay $39 for carton of Coopers Green, today it was about $43.
Also blocks of Emu Export, I remember they were just under $30, today nearly $33.
Bottles of Jacobs Creek bubbly, used to get for about $6.50 now $7.45
It's not a lot but it all adds up.

Don't know can't afford to go...
...probably because they undercut the competition and gained the market so now doing some sneaky price hikes.

You should go to the bottle shop in Heathridge on Caridean Street. You have to have a mullet and singlet to go there but it is the cheapest drink I have found.

Yes I know it, thanks. I'll have to check it out. Last time I was at the chip shop waiting for them to cook my order I remember seeing the procession of trash in and out of the bottle shop in question. I was surprised at just how rough the place's clientele looked.

It is the only place in Perth I can find pink Chandon (my fave tipple) and most things are a few dollars cheaper than anywhere else. The turkish deli opposite also does the most amazing turkish bread!

Our local bottleshop has had a sign up for months now warning about this price hike.
A good time to start wine and beer home-brewing maybe.
