I understand that Sky have now changed all their numbers to 0844 and you cannot now call them even on a UK mobile from Spain.

Even if you did sent it from your PC they are hardly likely to check your IP address - they have better things to do.

I wan't sure whether I should revive this thread or start a new one, anyway here goes -
Has anyone actually phoned Sky from Spain without them knowing you are phoning from Spain. Skype perhaps??
I went into their website to send them an e mail but it required you to give a phone number.................. in any case they might check my i.p. address.
Just for interest Sky charged my bank account with 5 (five) other peoples subscriptions. My bank has refunded it but it would be nice to try to ensure it doesn't happen again. I suppose it might have been a mistake by my bank but they say not!

Not much has changed from the earleir posts on here....
Some people have had no problems with Skype and Vonage for example, and some have had no probelms with (some) UK mobile phones (doing all sorts of caller ID blocking helps)
You can send sky an email, from the mysky account - which is best to set up from an UK IP address....

Hi
I have called Skype three times in the last couple of months, the last time just a week ago. (registering a new white card).
I have a tesco's telephone number which allows me to chose the area; in my case I chose Romford (01708) and I got 01780 560 ****
I think you can still download everything you need from the Tesco's web site.

Hi
A long time ago I bought a USB phone in tesco's and it gave an option to download their services onto your PC. Having had a quick look I think you have to order one of their "phone for a PC" products, but have a look at the link below
