If your question is answered here, then please don't start a thread asking about it, just accept the answers given here
1) No-one can accurately predict a timeline for any visa. Each application is different and will require different amounts of processing, and it is impossible to say at any point in the process how long an applicant will have to wait.
2) All terms such as "Further Processing" "Further Checks" "Internal/external processing" "Additional processing" mean exactly what they say. DIAC is undertaking more processing on that application. No-one can tell you exactly what they are checking. You have to be patient and just wait. These terms appear both on the online status reports and in PLE replies, and you just have to accept that your application is at least being dealt with.
3) No-one can predict what changes will be made in the next DIAC announcements, in the next MODL changes, the next CSL changes etc. Speculation and rumour can cause a lot of distress to other applicants so please try not to scaremonger or gossip.
4) Case Officers and other employees of DIAC, TRA, and similar bodies are just doing their jobs. Please don't aim abusive comments at them, and please don't post their names and personal contact details on the forum.
5) Agents giving advice/information on here do so for free. If you are asking for information from a specific agent, please respect their professional skills and contact them directly - and be prepared to pay. If you choose to post on here you have to accept that you will receive replies from a variety of agents, and from other posters as well.
6) Moderators are NOT migration agents. We pass on information based on our own personal experience and circumstances, and also based on the many thousands of threads we have seen on here over time. Please do not contact moderators by email or pm with specific migration issues. We can't answer these queries and you are better advised to post on the open forum.
Finally, there are threads running for posters who apply within each month - eg September 2008, October 2009, May 2009. Please don't start threads trying to split applications down further. Threads such as "Mech Eng CSL 2nd week September 2009 with one dog and a budgie" will be closed. If you desperately want to chat with people within such a narrow field, please start a thread in the Barbie instead.
Thanks.
