Hi All, Not sure if anyone remembers me but I was waiting to hear back my decision if im in or out. I handed back my docs the end of January and hadn't heard a thing.
I then had a brown letter asking for updates, which mentioned you have 60 days to do this, (my wife thinks it said 60 days and they would of dealt with it) anyway that was just over a month ago when that was handed back and still nothing.
Is anyone still waiting for replies from AOR 06 ? and does anyone have any idea how long you think they will take to reply.
Oh one more thing, the update request was for my wifes work experience, does this mean they have looked into our application to a point that we score enough points ? Surely that would be the 1st thing they do then say ok we need more info.

Hi Kevinm,
We applied Dec 06 and still haven't had nothing. When did you apply? I'm assuming it was before Oct 06 as you say your AOR was Oct 06.
I can't even tell you what date our AOR was - as we never received one.
I would assume that because they wanted some more info that they have looked through your docs now and maybe that was the only thing that needed clarifying. Of course, that is my opinion and what I deem to be logic or sense may be completely different from how CIC sees it!
I would think now that it is just a case of waiting for med requests to come. It does seem a long wait for you but there are still a few of us in the same boat - if that is any consolation for you?!!
Hope you hear something very soon

Hi Kevin, don't worry we haven't forgotten about you.
You and Greentea have my sympathies.
I agree with Greentea, applying logic to CIC operations requires you to stretch your imagination beyond the limits of the human mind !
I wouldn't bother trying !
We've tried to fathom things out and just ended up further stressed out, with mega migraines.
We have AOR September 2006 and our ECAS "updated status"(ha!ha!) says "we started processing your application 14/09/06" the same as it has since ? You guessed it 14/09/06.
We get so much current info from ECAS that I'm struggling to keep up with it. Not !
I think the post Feb 2008 applicants get there info updated as it happens. But that doesn't apply to the poor souls who've been waiting for 3 or 4 years.
I sincerely hope you get your med requests soon, swiftly followed by PPR.
Keep positive, I'm sure it's gonna happen for us someday !

I would also put your details on Trackitt - it seems that for those that are outside the normal boundaries never have their details on Trackitt!

Hi Kevin, congratulations on getting the medical requests !
That's great news. I know your letter is very vague, but hey this is CIC we're talking about here !
Sounds like they've missed some paperwork again.
I like the bit about getting your meds done in 60 days to avoid having your application "delayed unnecessarily", that's a laugh a minute.
You could look at it as having a year to land after doing meds. But that only applies if you've got the PR in your hand.
If you end up in the position we find ourselves, then you might find you've got to do a mad dash to get landed.
Julie, we waited about 3 months from updating docs to getting med requests.
Booked and did meds right away. We've now been sitting in limbo for 7 months, awaiting PPR.
You've just got the bog standard automated reply from CIC to your email.
We've emailed about 8 or 9 times since July and only got one reply saying "your medical exams are being processed" 09/07/09.
I've tried calling in the past, but just got into a loop of automated info.
Our "immigration advisors" have emailed CIC (included in the 8/9 times) after I woke them up a few times, but they didn't manage to get any response.
It's like trying to wake up a hibernating grizzly !
Bodger, our case is outside the normal boundaries and it's on Trackitt.
Maybe if everyone put details on there it would apply a bit of leverage to CIC, but I doubt that
Good luck all and keep on dreaming

Both myself and hubby too are keeping everything crossed for you and your family that you hear soon.
Take care!

You seem to be within normal bounds. There are a few with medical requests sent on your AOR. Not long now though I reckon...
