We are a family of five that are currently living in sherwood park. We really like living here but my husband works in Nisku, so we are thinking about moving closer to there. Also we are thinking of having a house built in Meadowview, Leduc. Can anyone advise me about schools, as we have a 16 year old son and daughters of 12 and 7. What is the crime like in the area.

Hubby said he will ask in work, see if anyone knows people who live there, and try and find out about schools, etc.

He has heard very good things about Beaumont and Devon, there are a few people he works with there.

We live in Leduc, nice quiet area, we never had have any bother and I've never seen any trouble or crime in the area. There are plenty of schools around, however we have no kids so can't really recommend which one would be best! You guys should take a little drive down around here some night for a look around.

You should take a look at this month's Readers' Digest - it's got an article about that area that you might find interesting.

We are driving down to Leduc tomorrow to look at some schools and Thursday we are looking at the high school. We should hopefully know by then if Leduc or Beaumont are were we are going to live
