Also how long from receiving the letter (AOR?) and ECAS actually showing one any information? Cannot get anything at the moment.

Just got a letter from CHC London with new file number - is this the AOR?
The letter states that:
"Applications for permanent residence in Canada in your category require, on averoge, 12 monlhs to process at this office. lf you have not received any instructions from us within 8 months of the dote of this letter, please contact this office. "
Is this the letter that everyone is getting? I have noticed some pretty short AOR to processing times for some other PR aspirants?
All positve encouragement acceptted gladly. Praying that we have sent enough evidence (120 notarised documents) and that we get our PR finally!!.
The letter states that:
"Applications for permanent residence in Canada in your category require, on averoge, 12 monlhs to process at this office. lf you have not received any instructions from us within 8 months of the dote of this letter, please contact this office. "
Is this the letter that everyone is getting? I have noticed some pretty short AOR to processing times for some other PR aspirants?
All positve encouragement acceptted gladly. Praying that we have sent enough evidence (120 notarised documents) and that we get our PR finally!!.

We could have met up.
We'd still be interested in any recommendations. We plan to rent a house for a couple of weeks in order to explore the different areas. Can you recommend any decent short term house rental companies?

Sorry, no idea, we are staying with a pal who lives in White Rock.
I've heard that Craigs List is a good place to look for short/long term rentals. We stayed for about a week in vancouver city but stayed in holiday inn and got great rates, cos it was for more than a couple of nights. My other friend might know of a few companies, if I get her this weekend I'll ask her.
Still no 120 day email for us...boooo

I guess im at the same stage as you..
Im in Canada at the moment but move back to London in a few weeks (was here in a 1 year working visa whilst applying for my PR)
I want to change my address online as they sent me a hardcopy letter (the AOR) to my canadian address a few days before I moved out of my old apartment!!
I did send them a letter with my application to london saying not to send me any mail to canada but they didnt read this i guess
what should i do?
if i try to change the address online, they want a new CANADIAN address (this field is already pre filled in so cant be edited)
any suggestions? should i write to them again?!?
