Hello Freinds,
I am IT professional & currently in USA.
I am planning to move to Australia as I got my PR.
I am trying to find out what are the best months for job search over there?
I can get only two months vacation & want to utilise my time in best way.
Thanks.

I'm not sure about the best months, however December and first fortnight of January is kind of dry month for the new hiring due to x-mas and other vacations !

Good to know about you ... I'm mostly engaged into technical core areas like SAP basis admin, SAP netweaver admin, SAP solution manager & Oracle DB for SAP since last 5 years ..I'm working for a product based company so mainly I'm involved into product support and solution support, rather than full lifecycle implementation.

Yeah .. I can understand. It's something like giving a birth to the baby and nurturing until he/she becomes independent !

It may happend anytime wherever the employer found the perticular vacancy of the job.. I would refer you to go through some Job Search Engine.

Given the current job market, there is no definite answer to your question. I have seen a shift from permanent employees to contractors by employers, it may be advisable to target temping for a start. It is much easier to land a permanent job once you have had a few temporary gigs, than looking for a permanent job from the beginnning. Good luck.
