Serviced Apartments - Dubai
We're looking to put Mr Kitty in a cattery, sorry "serviced apartment" here in Dubai while I'm away and so I was wondering if any of you could give me some pointers to fast-track my google'n'phone research.
It'd preferably be in the marina/ al barsha area, but towards Burj Dubai would be fine too... companies/landlords willing to give a good price on 6 month+ stays are a must.
Just out of interest - and not wanting to hijack my own thread - have any of you worked out how much your apartment + bills + cleaning costs you per night?! I had a fit when I did the maths!

we spent 2 months at the Pearl Coast at Al Barsha, not a bad place at all, nice rooms, cleaned well and 5 mins from MoE.

We used mydubaistay.com before and stayed in a 1-bed apartment in Marina Crown and then when we actually moved over, Mr Kitty's company put us up in teh Coral Boutique in Al Barsha, which was absolutely lovely, but beyond our budget this time around!
I've seen posters for Nuran Serviced Residences just this morning... and a few people have recently mentioned staying long-term in serviced apartments, so any details of those would be most welcome!

There's plenty of flats in JBR populated with young nubile blonde Assies looking for a flatmate. You can probably swing an ensuite room for 5,000/month.
I've seen adverts for studios in Discovery Gardens for around 60,000 for the year. It may be cheaper than a 6 month short-term contract on a one-bedroom.

So do you guys think that the advertised prices (when there are some) are trying it on a bit?
I suppose I'll only know once I start phoning!
Many thanks!

A colleague stayed here recently and she said it was great.
Good luck.

The Nuran is fine. Stayed at the one in the Marina before I got my place. Easy walk to both The Walk and the Marina Mall. Not enough parking though.
