We landed on the 23rd Oct 08 and our PR Cards still haven't arrived. Seems a bit long to me. Has anyone who landed after us received theirs yet? or Is their anyone who landed before us that is still waiting?

How are you getting them sent over to you in the UK Ickle Helen? Is a friend forwarding them over?

They are being sent to a friends address, and she has informed me that they still haven't received anything. However, I don't think I'm going to get the PR Cards sent.

No, I was just curious as to whether they had failed to show at the friend's address, or gone missing on the way over the pond. And also in light of the recent debate on mailing PR cards abroad. Luckily I don't have the dilemma as when I land (in 10 days' time!!!) I'll be staying

Hope you get to the bottom of it and manage to get them to you before you move over in March.

We landed on 31.12.08 and just received a letter saying they need new photos as our submitted photos were overexposed! They were ok for everything else.

I'd definitely give them a call as the time period is far too long. We were told 4-6 weeks.

Thanks. Our pictures should be fine as the immigration officer at the airport said that the background on our pictures was too dark so he took some new ones us there and then.

I suspect that the delay maybe because we didn't know our friends postcode when be landed at the airport.
