Dubai - online maps diabolical
Hello!
I am trying to find a nice map showing where the different districts are, such as media, academic, international and other cities.
I would be very grateful if somebody could provide a nice link.
Where in Dubai would be the best place for veggie restaurants? Which place is most like Covent Garden? Where do you suggest for a reasonably priced sea view?

I would suggest you buying Dubai Explorer which can be found on any major book shop in Dubai or even on Amazon.

There are plenty of Veggie Indian restaurants around.

Covent Garden is most like Covent Garden. I'm afraid you won't find a parallel in Dubai- not even at Karama.
uaeinteract.com/uaemap/- this is a reasonable map but things change so quickly- maps outta date before the ink's dry.

by the time a map is in print, the road system's have changed, where you could do a U'ey last week you cant this.

GPS are great fun, we came down from Al Ain the other weekend and stayed in a hotel on the SZ Road, the GPS told us to take the next turning left 500metres and our hotel was on the other side of the SZ Road, we were on the inside lane of the other side of the road and if you have not been on this road there are five lanes both sides, great fun. Never a dull moment in Dubai
