Default Reminder - Moved, can't access old email account and have lost password ...

..... this scenario is once again becoming more frequent and we are repeatedly being asked to change email addresses in order for a password reminder to be sent to a new email address. To protect the security and privacy of member accounts we NEVER change email addresses, etc. As you can imagine this has resulted in some frustrated members who have moved, obtained a new email address, can no longer access their old one, and can't log in because they can't remember their passwords but want to post or have pm's they want to access etc, etc.

About a year ago we added a security question to the registration process, but existing members will need to enter this information manually. However, it seems that this is still not being done by long term members. It's very easy and will only take a few seconds of your time. Go to 'My Profile' - 'Edit Options' and then scroll down and enter your secret question and answer.

If you are about to move and will be using BE when you get to your destination please add your security question now, because we won't be able to help you if you get to the other side and discover you can't login because you don't know your password.

The information above is also listed in the FAQ's
