OK got there at 8.10 appointment 9.30 lol well I was worried about the traffic I took Nnaul with me my buddy...at 8.20 I was asked to go to the interview roomshit an hour early, but better then waiting around..

Now then it took 50 mins because mine was not a typical case I had been back and forth to the ex and also filed a VAWA once, so it was a bit confusing, the Officer was a total gentleman and was patient and very kind, he apologised for all the run around I had, had ie the case being moved from Chicago....BUT get this my finger prints that I had done in Illinois last October he cannot find in the system luckily I had the receipt the original with the stamp on, then he said "were you in San Francisco in August"Nope only for work..well your case was denied then!!!! but it was denied in Chicago due to non attendence!
It appears that my case that I had the interview for in Chicago was transfered to San Fran rather then Fresno hense the hold up, are you still with me lol...so he said but I can re-open it but I thought thats why I am already here!!
So conclusion had my finger prints done he did them in his office incase they get lost again, I have my new biometrics next week for my GREEN CARD
I said "so what next" and he said "get the biometrics done if you do not recieve anything by the 2nd week in Dec come back and we will stamp your passport" but I need the biometrics to do that....and yes you can go home for Xmas book your flight....made a total ass of myself and broke down and cried at the end its been a long journey.

Its over is it..........................whats the bet I book the flight then have to go back and have the passport stamped and the officer is on holiday...NO NO don't talk that up..

But I have been approved.

Great news Poppy girl! I know it was stressful, but at least now you've found an individual (I've always had great experiences with 'them' as individual people) who has taken an interest in your *entire* process and is able to not only put the pieces together but bring resolution.

From his closing comments, it looks like it is done and dusted!

Now, you'll probably be out of town when we pass through. Isn't that just like it! Have a GREAT trip!

I might just add for others that I going through the process and want a tip make sure that you document everything and I mean everything that goes back and forth, he complimented me on keeping them informed on an on going basis so this is a must.

I cannot believe it this must the fastest USCIS has every moved lol

As you know I was approved but they have lost my fingerprints so I have to have them done again, I was only at my interview Thurday and its now saturday of course, just went to the mail and there is my appointment to go in on Tuesday for fingerprints, heck thats a record for sure, I was not expecting to even hear anything until the earliest the end of next week
