Naturally the canadian media reported this as
"Not one US city was higher on the list than the canadian ones...."
Thats probably a definintion of "parochial"

Re: Vancouver - 3rd best City in the world!!
We can now expect such comments from everyone living in other cities in Canada!! Notice that Calgary, much esteemed by so many on here, came in at 24, but of course it's meaningless drivel. No basis in fact.

Perhaps this is a more meaningfull list:
http://www.canadianbusiness.com/rank...Cols=&content=
Calgary is the highest of the "big" cities, but its draging along at 9th within Canada
Toronto is in 33rd and Vancouver is way down in 69th.

My mate was just showing a new complex on the corner of Keith and Chesterfield on the north shore. $699 for a 2 bed and its 560 sqft. What a joke!
Vancouver is a supermodel, nice to look at but...

...if you had a chance you would, wouldn't you ? Go on, admit it. With playful Miss Vancouver, you're just pretending you're not interested. But the yearning runs deep. Hard to admit it for some. In BC, we know, we just know.

I can't trust any poll that puts Zurich and Geneva as first and second, they bore me to tears.

Re: Vancouver - 3rd best City in the world!!
There was a documentary on Knowledge Network here in BC last night called "Rage". Did anyone else know that Canada is ranked 4th worst in the western world for workplace violence?
Not sure if the second punch-up in a week for queue jumping at the Timmies drive-thru beside my office counts, but it was rather funny. I watched two grown adults punch the crap out of each other yesterday over who got to the drive thru microphone area first.
