REMINDER - Play nice, and try to stay out of trouble!

I've posted this already in a thread today but feel it should be made sticky for a little while as not everyone will read the thread.
Lately there seems to be a recurring problem of arguments flaring up, unsavoury comments and hurtful personal remarks being made.
Please remember that this site was created as a support system for those of us living abroad and and those yet to make the move. If you don't like someone please do not get into arguments with them on the forum, it's not fair to the other members of this site who don't want to become involved.
If you are unsure of what is or is not allowed please refer to the site rules .
And remember, we have all made the life changing decision to move to a different country so let's start supporting each other instead of criticizing each other.
Thanks for reading.

This forum is descending into abuse, swearing, and jokes that are just a little unsuitable.
Please cut it out guys, its not big and its not clever.

A revival of an old post - please read and take note as its a request from the Mods in general.
While we don't expect every post on BE to be acceptable to all posters, and we don't expect everyone to talk like they swallowed a manual of perfect English, there are certain levels of common decency to which people are expected to adhere.
In recent weeks there has been an increasing tendency in the Barbie to bring a lot of threads down to somewhere below the gutter, and this is causing offence and annoyance to a lot of other posters. You should also remember that many children are with their parents while their parents are on the forum.
If you wish to post something you feel is approaching the line of acceptability, please use the Take It Outside forum, rather than the Barbie, or check with one of the Mods first. If it is beyond the line of acceptability please don't bother posting it at all.
Also some of the subtle hints dropped around the place have been ignored so I'm now asking officially - There may be places where sexually explicit, racist, obscene or vulgar language, graphics or behavior is appropriate however BritishExpats.com is NOT one of them. so can we please have a bit of a clean-up on the language front
Thanks
