Hello All,
I am considering a move to the US, however, I know nothing about the immigration laws.
How difficult is it to move to the US, from the UK in relation say to Australia.
Hope some has an answer.
Cheers

Check here for a summary of US immigration laws:

I doubt very much that you would qualify, unless you have a large 6-figure sum to invest in a business.

Does anybody know if US qualifications are recognised in Aus, I understand that UK ones are not but Scottish ones are.
I hope that someone has the answer

Seems to me that there are a lot of people just waiting for a post like this, must have made a number of days.
I actually know a UK plumber in Colorado, well Scouser, I remember him saying something about the Exams were no big deal and a lot less comprehensive than what he had done.

He had worked in the Middle East for sometime, had a small daughter that I believe is US born, but never met the missus. Reasonable guess would be via a USC Spouse.
