Thanks for posting your list, Almost forgot about the form 886!

Out of interest did you need to send employment details of your sponsor?? Myself and my wife are both living in the UK and we didn't think that employment when we get out there is a problem.

Yep, you sure do! It is on form 40 for the sponsor, hidden away under one of the questions. We didn't spot it until the last minute ourselves. They want proof of employment from the last two years, such as payslips, contracts or other documentation. It is to verify that the sponsor can support the applicant if the applicant can't find work.
