I'd be very careful about paying for job searching. It's generally accepted that the employer pays for finding you not vice versa. Keep your money in your pocket and use it for something more useful, emigrating is an expensive enough process. Please be wary and check out the useful thread at the top of the thread list, you'll probably find an agency that won't charge. Newjobz rings a bell with me and doesn't give me a good feeling, I think they may have cropped up on this forum before.

Thank you so very much. You have just saved me US$297. I must admit the US made me stop and think

The like is www.newjobz.co.nz if you still want to have a look. I won't be using them.

I guess I just don't know where to start with looking for a job. I will keep searching the net

Thanks again though, I am so glad I found this site yesterday

Nice one Pinkie! There's a few in there that we haven't even seen yet!

Gotta agree as well with not parting with any money. Usually it's for the recruitment consultants to find people and then they get a percentage from the employer that the person goes to (or at least that's how it works in the UK). If it's consultants helping to get you over to NZ and advising on what to do then it's different (I think - don't quote me on that! )

Thank god for that!! nobody needs to pay an agent to find work in NZ, it's almost full employment here - probably one of the best in the world. There are so many jobs that you could literally find work within 2 days of arriving. Have sent you some karma to welcome you to the forum
