Default Cordless phones?

Hello,

I've seen phones from cheapies through to many hundreds of dollars, all with differing frequencies. No salesman has been able to explain to me what the difference is... does anyone know?

I just want the equivalent of the reliable old DECT cordless I had in the UK. And will these other frequencies interfere with my airport base station?

Thanks in anticipation.

Thanks Mike, so what's a good frequency to get? I've seen so many I can't even remember them all

Hi Biiiiink
Avoid the 900mhz phones as the call quality is c*@p, the higher the mhz's, the better the quality.
