Default Real Wages of Australians

Theres been a couple of threads about wages, so i thought some REAL info from people living in OZ may be of interest.

This poll gives a confidential way to get the info out to everyone.

PLEASE only those earning Australian dollars working here in OZ to answer.

The 45k to 50k option should read $40k to 50k.

Someone did something similar about 3 months back. Just out of curiousity, what do you vote for if you earn say $42K? .

Last time it was surprising how many people earned over $100K.

Im not voting this time as last time I put in Dagboys wage (ie as a family income since Im not working) & he then voted as well.

I stuffed on that one didnt I !!

I hope people read my edit, to make it 40k to 50k instead of 45 to 50

I'll have to look back for the old post you mentioned. I'm still pretty new here after all

Hehe, surprisingly the other thread had a similar stuff up in it, so you are in good company .

I think it was about 3 months ago, somewhere around sept/oct last year. Dont worry, I havent been here that long either, us newbies are everywhere .

I just looked up the old poll
Hmmm, some interesting comments, maybe I should have read that first and created a much more comprehensive poll

Maybe I should scrap this one and start again

That's one of the reasons why the "report to moderator" link is there

Hi Peter,
I always thought that was there to tell tales on someone else

Could you change the 45k to 40k for me, so that it reads $40k to $50k Please

Another one could be what % of your net income goes towards your mortgage ie minimum payment as most people slap a bit extra on. Personally I think its about 25% to meet min payment not including partners wage, hence we get by.

To all the 100K+ earners your all *****

Ahem indeed. How do you want the 80-90 range to read?

I think we should start a poll on how well this poll was crafted!

Um, Can you add another line in, or is it easier to change the 90-100 to read 80k to 100k.

I don't think we need a poll to decide that i completely stuffed it

I'll either take more time on the next one, or never do another again !! This is getting embarrassing

I've made the new boundary at 85.

No worries, a tip for all wannabe poll starters is to keep the options to a realistic minimal. 4 or 5 options are easier to manage than 10 options!
