Yip, everything. Well we contacted agents here in South Africa , went to see them, and decided that we will make use of them. The deal was we pay them an X amount and the services would contain of them finding us a job , by making use of their agents in canada, and then send our paperwork to the high commision for processing. Once we get our workpermit we'll be of to canada.
So everything worked quite good in the beginning, it wasnt a long wait when we recieved a phone call with the job offers, se send us the papers which we had to sign for acceptance, and told us that were not allowed to know who the companies are we got the offers from before we get our workpermits, becuase its the new law, otherwise people calls the companies to much with questions etc etc. Being the stupid idiots we believed them , but hey, we got them in the first place because we didnt know how to go about it on our own.
Anyway, so when that was done, they then let us know that our permits would be ready the 30th of November. and on the 30th i received the mail that stated our application for "Permanent Residency" was rejected . ( first mistake they made, and the most critical one )
So we phoned her and told her that there must be a mistake because our deal was from the beginning to go on a work permit, because we knew we would get PR right away, and her answer was there is no difference. ( next istake) SOO we conatacted the HIgh Commision, they told us that our understanding of a PR and work permit is 100% correct, and that the letters we got was falsed. They then took a look on their system and guess what they found nothing, no application as ever handed in for us.
We then gave the high commision of canada here in PTA all the details they requested and it wasnt 20 minutes later the agent phoned us in quite a state wanting to know whats going on ( WHICH IS WHAT I WANNA KNOW!! )
Now a very nice lady is handeling the case , and the Canadian authorities have been informed as well and is working on it aswell.
So now were waiting to see whats gonna happen, and sending out CV's as much as we can and hope that somewere someone is interrested in recruiting some saffas
