Sydney CBD Thursday Night Drinks - March 14th
Hey folks,
Weather looks pants tomorrow, so I thought we could try something a bit different, and head to Frankie's Pizza Bar, at 50 Hunter Street, in the CBD:
Frankie's Pizza Bar
I read a review of this place in the paper at the weekend, and it sounded pretty good, so we should at least give it a try. If it's no good, then there's the Bavarian Beer place on O'Connell Street as a fall back position, but I hope it will be OK.
Who else is up for it?

Matt and I will be along now we've almost finished sorting out our flat (just the sofa to go)! Good choice with pizza.

Sounds like a special occasion - Any pub suggestions to mark it?
Last night was interesting - Frankie's Pizza Bar would probably be a very funky place, if you could find anywhere to sit, or even stand - the place just kept filling and filling to the point of stupidity - the pizza's looked awesome - it's a shame that I never got to try one of them
Still, the Bavarian was good

dunno....wouldn't want to suggest anywhere just in case we can't make it. She works on Thursdays so to her its a bit of a bother to get on the train for 1 1/2 hours just for a few drinks

Did anybody have any suggestions for drinks venue tomorrow?
Weather looks OK, so it could be our last chance for some alfresco drinking...

Glenmore Hotel? It has finished its refurb. Not sure if any good. Maybe worth a try for an alvo al fresco. They have free sun lube too.
