Default Renting in Vancouver

Hello Everyone,

Myself and my wife are emigrating from the UK to Vancouver at the end of August and I was wondering if there are any other websites apart from craigslist that advertise apartments for rent.

We are looking for 1-2 bedrooms $1000-1200 CAN in the downtown (ish) area.

Any suggestions would be great.

Cheers

Richard & Michelle

Hi Richard and Michelle.
Perhaps Frank and Sense could help you look for a rental place
in Vancouver. Other areas on the westside of Vancouver are False Creek,
Fairview Slopes,Kitsilano, Point Grey and UBC are prime locations
and not too far from downtown Vancouver.
Hopefully the link below could give you an idea what the rental market
is like in Vancouver.
If you do not mind the Eastside, Commercial drive is an interesting multicutural
community from Italy,Portugal , South America and Asia . Outside cafes,
cheap, tasty south american and mediterranean foods. There are European
deli stores , cheap fresh fruits and vegetables from the asian stores.

Hope that helps,
