If you do a search of the forum you'll no doubt find loads of other threads on Saskatoon. There is also plenty of info about the cost of living etc (which will about the same as in the UK - some things cheaper, some more expensive, so it generally evens out).

What's the job and do you have your LMO yet?

hi thanks for welcome i have been offered job has hgv mechanic don`t think have lmo yet as i have not confirmed position yet. i am just doing some checking on area etc. i would like to visit the area to have a look for myself and bring my wife
we have read reports of a high crime rate in the area and it is the worst city in canada could you give me any further info please

I've been here five years and the only crimes we've heard about near us in that time were someone stealing a neighbour's bike and people stealing construction supplies from the half-finished houses.

Otherwise it's pretty much the same as any other small city; there are good parts and bad parts and there are things to do but not as much as a large city like London or Toronto.
