Default Your best/worst dives?

Seems to be a few divers appeared again so thought we'd give this one a go.

Best dive so far has to be doing the Cenotes in Mexico. Cavern diving through both fresh and salt water is the dogs b******s. If I limit it to sea diving, for me has to be the Thislegorm in the Red Sea. Loads of other good dives, but loved the Thistlegorm. Worst? St Abbs, Pettico Wick on a cold wet Sunday with less than an arms length viz on my 4th open water dive and getting split up in 18 mtrs. Talk about stressed!!!!! :scared:

A friend in NZ is planning a trip to Fiji for 3 of us - can't wait!!!

Where do I most want to go? - Bikini Atoll I think, or Truk.

This is my doing isn't it............. trying to turn every thread into one about diving!!!!

Best diving - the Cayman islands, by far. The vis is like an aquarium and the wildlife amazing. Here's some of my photos from there -

124-2 = Diver photographing Hawksbill turtle
127-2 = Diver with Tarpon
127-5 = Diver videoing 2 tarpon (incidentally this diver has an Oscar for doing the CGI in Spiderman 1!!!)

I have also dived Fiji and believe it or not spent 3 weeks diving in Tonga - undived, virgin sites!!!

Cheers

We did our first of 3 at around 6am. Very atmospheric when it's 'quiet'. A bit like the Metro Centre by mid-day when every man and his dog was there. Had a good shot of me on the stern gun taken by one of the club, but never got a copy Did you do the full internal dive as well?
