We had a guy from Allied Pickfords come out to see us today so he could give us a quote for shipping. They came across as a very professional group who really care about the stuff there moving (there was even a little book for our son in the information they gave us). We just want to know if anyone else has used this company and if you think they were good. They are the only company who have come out to see us and we have contacted loads. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

A.P. Are possibly one of the best movers, but you pay for what you get !!!
Our Friend works at A.Pickfords Australia, at the Gold Coast.
We couldnt afford to use A.P. from uk to Oz, if you can... go for it IMO

They came and went through the house like a plague of locusts packing everything (don't put down anything you'll need before the load arrives, it'll be gone!! lol) they held it till we were ready to fill the load and go, handled all the customs and unloaded the other end, unpacking all, none or part of the load, whatever suits you. From the contents of a 3 bed house we had one saucer and one glass broken (and I wouldn't guarantee they wern't damaged before they went in!!)

We used them and they were great - we had about 2 things broken, nothing important or expensive. (And out of 150ish boxes!)

We used AP for our removals and everything was great in the UK. Communication on this side has been great too and we are expecting our goods to be delivered over the next few weeks as they are now in customs at Freemantle. Fingers crossed!
