Yes I'm sure that this question gets asked quite a lot BUT: how easy is it to get English footy on the telebox in Canada?
I've just watch my team Southampton get beaten 3-1 by a crappy team they dominated and who now move above them in the league. If someone can tell me that it is practically impossible to watch such frustration in Canada that will make me a little happier.

Hi - fellow saints fan here! Since relegration theres no chance of watching any games on TV. Can download highlights off the internet, but I don't usually bother anymore. They show 3 premiership games every Saturday - was hoping to be watching Saints again next season but it's not looking good
Todays game sounded bad...

We're moving to Edmonton next month and I can't wait now so I don't have to suffer the living hell of dire footy.
So don't despair - you're not alone.

Hockey is a good substitute - the Canucks seem to have knack of making hard work of easy games.
And yes - the skiing is good!

My son watched soccer from the Uk on Fox Sports, the Canadian version, that is pretty much wall to wall soccer, with a dash of Sky Sports News.
He's Happy with It.

Plenty of premiership football here. We get 3 live games on a Saturday & usually another live game Sunday & Monday. So the chances of seeing your Premiership team are pretty good. Unfortunately I've been seeing a bit too much of the Hammers recently. Shouldn't have the same problem next season in the Championship

If you're team's in the premiership then you'll get to see a match every now and then on Fox - if not, forget it. I'm banking on Sunderland making it back up so I can finally shout at the telly again...and not just at the crappy programmes over here.

IN my expereience in Canada, unless you are living in a village of 200 people, you will be able to go thru the "telephone directory" and find a "British Pub" that will have a sattellite dish with UK soccer games, either "live " or on tape delay. Call them and ask about what matches they carry on their big screen TV.
Any place with a population of more than 15,000 will have one of those kinds of places............Enjoy a pint and the match.

If its anything like the Winchester Arms in Belleville, the chances of enjoying the pint are pretty slim

When Sunderland is on the telly, you don't shout, you laugh your *ss off.
