well......been here 10 months just about had enough of crazy halloween costumes, so why not have a 'Guy Fawkes' dummy instead, share some historical moments with our local septics and hopefully avoid prison when we set some wild fireworks off in Michigan.
Guy Fawkes....we have a fire pit ( no bonfire ) so only a little fella to burn, but a history lesson non the less for the locals. Any suggestions on feeding the locals at this 'event'????

wow so the firework laws are that strict ? the fireworks are not that wild, i don't think anyway.
another thing to get used to , i can carry a gun but not set off a firework!

Not sure about the local laws for you, but anything that leaves the ground here is banned, so fireworks are no fun and we don't bother.
With such dislike of the local fun customs, why would you even want to be here? Different country, different customs, different holidays.

Depends on where you live....ask your neighbors. It's pretty much a free-for-all where I grew up and my dad still lives, but a little stricter where I live now (but still fairly lax).

There's a place in New Hampshire I think, might be Rhode Island, old mansion, they do a big bonfires night and fireworks, some old Brit family that have been living there for donkeys
