Our 1BR condo is a tiny bit too small for us. Having grown up in the country I find it a bit too clostrophobic.
We're buying a renovated 1950s 4BR 2BA home on nearly 1/4 acre on the edge of a canyon, with a tiny water view and a fantastic pool/pool area.
It's not in an area of our first choice, but the house offers everything we want and more....we can't afford to buy what we want in the area that we're currently in....maybe in 4 or 5 years time when I'm on or through my training program

Thanks everyone
It is exciting. IF all goes to plan, we'll be in within a 1-2 weeks of Christmas.
Not a great time to be finding a tenant for our condo, but it will give us some breathing space to repaint, clean and move
I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have such a wonderful hubby

Congrats, on the house buying.
Took us til this year to understand what escrow meant!,
but worked for us, it's kinda like a direct debit, boy do I wish the US could get on that ship and sail with it, I am sick to the back teeth, paying bills monthly, I have set up a few account on automatic pay, but another part of Dyslexia is you forget stuff, short term memory stuff, so I frequently lose my bank card, my world record was 1996 when I had 11 in one year!
and the automatic pay is linked to the card not your bank account! only lost 1 this year but still a pain in the behind having to set them all up again
