Assistance for Ex Pats
I am sure this question has been asked many times. I am too lazy to look for it!
Is there any Government assistance for returning ex pats who are not able to purchase homes or who do not have jobs to come back too & who have children of school age etc. ?

Just the same housing assistance and benefits that other UK residents will have.
You might get a bit of extra help from the Job Centre if they agree being away has put you at a disadvantage in the job market. That might qualify you for things that other people newly claiming might no get.
