Cool Anglo-Pacific?

Hi All,
Has anyone used Anglo-Pacific? I work for Maersk and we have to go to A-P's premesis with containers, I have watched them load the box's, and they seem very professional with everything boxed and crated up properly.
I have them coming round to give us a price for shipping, and any discounts for working for Maersk
Thanks,
Rachel & Paul

Hi there,

well Rachel we got a few quotes are taking 350 cu ft over to freemantle and we got a quote from anglo pacific they gave me a quote for £2100 they have a good rep as a lot do got quote from aliied pacificthere quote was £2000

but the company i picked is also a very reputable company called
www.overseasremovals.com i was impressed also instead of waiting for that reply or quote through the door the man man from excess brought with him a little mini laptop and we went round the house looking at the furniture e.t.c. while he put all the info into the laptop.

then after all that we sat down he worked out the price right there and then
which i was very impressed with and the quote was £1700 i think this way of working it is cheaper seeing it all at one time.

this is all a lot of money so worth giving them a phone

the man who came was Mark Selby
the ph no. is 0208 324 2057.

john.

I'm afraid AP haven't got themselves a good reputation.

Perhaps take a look at the search area here

Good luck

Anglo Pacific were a bloody nightmare and we lost several thousand pounds in damage and theft which, on a technicality, said we were uninsured - even though the insurance was paid. Apparently i had not carefully read the small print which said that if you stored your things in Australia - even for a few days, it was not covered unless you paid an extra premium. I could go on. That was not the only problem but but it still makes me mad to think about it. DONT USE THEM
