Based on all information mentioned above, I would be very interested to know what is the best option to travel to live permanently in Canada for one who has not met the residency requirement (that is, has stayed out of Canada for 4 years, but the PR Card remain valid).

* Which option of travel will attract less scrutiny/questions at the POE? The options are
1) land transport from the US
2) air travel from the US
3) air travel directly from Australia/Asia

* Will the person be required to show the passport at the POE? Or showing PR Card will be sufficient?
* Does the original PR visa label (and the COPR paper) need to be shown? (they are in the expired passport which will not be travelling with the person)
* Does passport with very a few exit/entry stamps attract questions?

Thanks.
Ddk
