We're off to Brisbane too, with a 1 year old - arriving 3 October so you've got a head start on us! We're going Malaysian but I'm sure Emirates will be great, we've flown them in our baby-free days and were very impressed.

We are all going back to Brisbane after 5 years away. Lived in Oz for around 4 years but couldnt settle for one reason and another and left to go home to UK, thought I would never go back to OZ but here we are all ready and waiting to go in just around 5 weeks. We are staying in Brownsplains with family and then having a holiday all the way down to Gosford where we hope to get a place to rent and work. We hope to have around 5 weeks camping and visiting places all down the coast. My sons (triplets) are 6 years old and were born in Brisbane but left when they were just 6 months. Looking forward to the adventure with them, they are at a great age now and it will be fun having them experience camping, fishing, swimming in the sea, dolphins, whales..... Yes it is a very upsetting time saying good bye to everyone, I did it once before but they all have internet and we intend to post pics everyday of our travels and experiences, plus it is cheap to call and most of them we only saw once a year or at Xmas, talked via the phone more than anything else. Moving is the most stressful thing any of us will ever do, let alone leaving your life to start a complete new one.

Yes it will be fun me thinks...

We are going to Outer North Brisbane. OH has a job in the CBD so anywhere commutable suits us!!
I have an interview lined up for Caboolture Hospital..
Do you know much about Brisbane?...we've not really spent much time there...hubby is from Sydney and we lived there for a while before we had the kids, but it's too pricey for us now!
