Downsides are they need lots and lots and lots of exercise and they stick to you like glue. Not a dog to be left alone or kicked outside.

Upside. Well people may claim that they "have the best dog".. I KNOW I have. They are truly special dogs. Sharp as a pin.

Lovely dogs & they are all much love too by the sounds of it

They do look similar with the Ridgeback looking a bit like a Vizsla on steroids.... and no ridge on the Vizsla.

Hi Louise,

Our little one never cries or wimpers at night and she sleeps outside now in her kennel and has for a while.

She's very good and has just had her last lot of jabs yesterday. Very quiet from her today, but she's still happy.

She still wees in the house when excited, but is getting better.

Good luck.

That's great!

Archie's got his jabs in two weeks, he's 10 weeks at the moment. He's wee'd in the house a few times but has managed to do it outside too which is something I hope he keeps up! He sleeps inside our son's old play pen!! I'm hoping to move him to a kennel in the yard when he's bigger but my husband said he needs to sleep inside every night...

Have you tried any puppy training techniques or are you just going with the flow?

Well the family have taken her to Saturday training courses and coming back with all sorts of different ways of doing things from feeding to puppy training etc... So I just take a back seat and let them get on with it.

It will work out in the end.
