Hi Everyone
Back in the UK now and could really kick myself up my own arse for not thinking straight, yes wish i had now stayed put (although not with my husband)
I suppose i really know the answer to this but anyway here goes, i would like to go back to the states again in about 4 months, although i am seperated now, my divorce could be through by the time i go back.
According to Alaskan law it takes between 30-60 days to finalise everything, like a complete berk i signed the dissolvement papers before i left.
My immigration attorney that we used for the k1 told me that regardless of been divorced i can still get back in, i find this hard to believe!
So am i right in thinking i am totally stuffed?
Thanks Muni

You should still be able to return to the US with your green card. Once back in the US and the divorce is final, file for the waiver to remove conditions via I-751. I'm assuming you will be filing passed on having entered into the marriage in good faith.
Did you heed the advice to gather all your previous documentation together regarding your immigration and evidence that you had a joint marital union? This will aid you in filing for your waiver of removal.
Glad to hear that you are thinking a bit clearer.

Just keep remembering what a bastard he is. He sounds nutso to me. LOL at least he is still on the hook with the affidavit of support. Remember when you return to the US to file an AR-11 for a change of address.
