What a magnificent achievement to have completed 666 objections - many thanks to Andy for his organisation and to everyone who pulled together - let's keep the momentum going.

Well, we ended up with 668 signatures which I think is very good going considering that I didn't have it left running for very long.
Many thanks to everyone who signed and who drummed up support.
According to the No.10 website:
If the previous petition is anything to go by that may take some time, so if you are in touch with your MP tell them about the petition and ask them to chase it up.

According to the No.10 website:
What will happen to my petition once it is finished?
Once your petition has closed, usually provided there are 500 signatures or more, it will be passed to officials who work for the Prime Minister in Downing Street, or sent to the relevant Government department for a response.
Every person who signs such a petition will receive an email detailing the Government's response to the issues raised.

Andy well done on the preparation, planning and execution of the petition.
668 signatures is a fantastic result and it certainly highlighted the FN property problems in the right way, raised awareness and ruffled feathers......and hopefully thats only the start.

Remy

Wrote to him recently drawing his attention to this petition. Had a reply saying he was very disappointed the matter still had not been resolved by the Indian authorities. Said he was pursuing it and he will let me know when he gets a reply. We live in hope!
Thanks to all those who have contributed to the organisation of the petition

Hi, I work for the Sunday Times (London), based in Delhi, and I'm trying to get in touch with people involved with the Downing St petition who are having problems with property in Goa. Anyone out there? Would love to hear from you. My email is [email protected] or mob is [0091] 995 8777 032. Thanks!
