If you go to our website, www.UKinUSA.fco.gov.uk/Orlando, all the information you need is there free of charge....

The fact you post on this site is appreciated, but the website doesn't answer everything ...

What are people supposed to do if they have been in the U.S. for less than 2 years and then cannot get someone locally to countersign, as the form demands?

And what about the opposite case, when someone arrived in the U.S. long ago and the original passport they arrived on (maybe a parent's) has long since been lost or destroyed?

It doesn't help when forms make unreasonable requests for documents that not everyone will have.

Obviously there must be real policies used to deal with cases like these, but unlike those of the Home Office Nationality Directorate, it appears that they are not published.

In the meantime demands like this just cause distress and confusion to those who are not experienced in dealing with authority.

I demand that Dean post his office phone number, cell phone(s) number(s), his wife's number and reveal the identities of all MI6 operatives in the US.

If he doesn't, I'll open a Freedom Of Information tag on his sorry butt. And I also want his inside leg measurement.

Thank you for a response. However if all information were available on a website there would be no need for a telephone number. The telephone numbers exist. They are used. My question remains the same. WHY are the call charges so ridiculously high?

Thanks

Because it's the British way - the customer/consumer is a nuisance and needs to take it up the butt.

Service Delivery Partners... what a load of bollocks. It's hard to keep a straight face with this bureaucratic mumbo-jumbo...
