Running in Brisbane
#1
I'm taking a last minute whistle stop trip to Brisbane, flying Monday night for 5 days in the Sunny (hopefully) City.
My problem is that I am in training for the London Marathon and need to clock up some serious mileage while I am there. Where does one run, in and around Brisbane, bearing in mind that I am looking to do at least 10 miles plus each time as an absoloute minimum.
Looking forward to running in the sun...
Cheers.

There are plenty of parks - Roma Street, Victoria, Botanical Gardens. You'll have to run round a few times to clock up 10 miles though

Once on the southbank, head back along the river, starting the loop back towards the storey bridge, perhaps another 4k till you reach the starting point. Its quite a nice run, mostly flat.

You'll need to cut through the CBD for 200 yards here, because of building works. Run around them, back to the riverfront. Keep going through the botanical gardens, all the time keeping to the river. Run past the footbridge and head for the Victoria bridge, cross this to the Southbank.
