Just driving offences?
Btw I think your bang out of order with your liars and idiots comment. As far as I can see the only idiot here is me for fessing up the first time. If I'd kept my mouth shut I'd of walked straight thru with the rest of em. So much for trying to do the right thing !

If the historic offences were just minor traffic violations, you haven't misrepresented yourself or done anything wrong because they won't be classed as crimes involving moral turpitude (CIMT). At the time of your previous visits to the USA, you would only have needed to declare CIMT's.

Your problems begin with the offences in 2009. The drugs issue is bad enough, but hoarding an illegal offensive weapon? Not good, and given that it's so recent as well, you're fighting an uphill battle to get permission to enter the USA. What did you need the stun gun for exactly?

The other question I would want to ask you is why you believe you have some sort of right to lie and enter the USA at all costs with no disregard for their laws? You are behaving like a law unto yourself, and the fact that you walked out of your last appointment because you didn't like the way you were spoken to, indicates to me that it's you with the bad attitude problem. Why would the USA want to let you in?

You specifically wrote, "I know loads of people who travel to the US all the time who have a lot worse record than me but they just fill the esta form in and walk straight in." My point - they lied to gain a US immigration benefit. That makes them liars and idiots... because only an idiot would deliberately lie to US immigration. You might not like my characterization of them... but it's still true! If these people are friends of yours, I suggest you get a new set of friends.

Like I said before, thanks for the advice but I don't feel I need to explain my choice of friends to people I don't even know and who will have no influence on the outcome of my application to enter the US , even though by the sound of it they would very much like that!
I'm gonna get off this forum now and make my own way.

Bye

When I worked at Heathrow I quite often dealt with those who adopted that attitude. Even after a transatlantic flight back home, they were still surprised at how the CBP officer knew they hadn't declared previous convictions, and refused them entry.

Once when we were doing PNC checks on all outbound UK passports holders traveling to the US, I was even more surprised at how few had a trace on the PNC. What are the odds of being found out, not sure, but higher than most people would think.
