Will a bucket do? Sounds like you're having 'fun' with the school again Lorna. Hope you win. Know what you mean about teachers, can't tell 'em anything!

I do indeed! Dreaded them as a midwife because the majority never took our advice.....hence they used to end up with painful, bleeding nipples when breastfeeding. Very frustrating. I have nothing against teachers at other times, unless they are cr@p of course.
Anyway back to the grog

Pets' Day? Do your pupils bring their pets into school for the day
Drinks for the weekend. We're going to a bonfire night party tomorrow night, one of the English couples is arranging something as close as we can get to it despite not being able to have a bonfire or fireworks A guy on the BBQ is what we'll have
She has already carved out a turnip! We used to do that up north-turnip lanterns for Halloween. And then try to set them alight by the bonfire on Nov 5th whilst the adults got drunk. I was always disappointed that they didn't burn We used to have the whole street in our garden for a massive party-good times!

Yup, it's a whole school thing (primary). Calves, lambs, goats, piglets, cats, dogs, whatever they have. They have to tell the judges about the animal, how they look after it etc. and the larger animals have to do a short obstacle course of gates etc. Followed by a sausage sizzle and cake sale. Amazingly under control

trying to understand why Vodafone have taken $167 out instead of $85. I need a rather large jug or bucket of alcohol. Anything will do. Any suggestions?
