I tried to download an upgrade from the MetService:

Last night I slept in my winter pj's, with a fleece on, under a feather duvet with an extra blanket on top, and I had a hot water bottle. And some thick woollen socks. I was freezing, but I did have a fever. Better today though after 12 hours sleep.

Perhaps we need ashiverythread for when we sit with the blankies and hotties but it's too early for the wood burners.

I managed to get four hours in the gardin. 
Boy, oh boy does it need it. It's the first time I have known us to still have green grass at this time of the year and I am loving the added bonus of not worrying about being eaten alive by mossies. Wish the mossies would stay gone!!
