Pine Cones
I see a lot of pine cones being offered for sale, what do you do with them??

I've not seen pine cones for sale. Presumably people burn them in their fires over the winter, perhaps for their scent 
. I wouldn't mind having a few for decorative purposes for Christmas (only about 40 weeks to go now 
) but I can never find those lovely big ones like in the UK. Saw loads around the trees beside the lake in Te Anau but they were small and weedy
